The owners of this split level 3 storey home wanted to renovate their home and add a large outdoor alfresco living area. The land was extremely steep block in a landslip prone area and also heavily overlayed area of Frankston South on Olivers Hill. Plans were prepared by Organized Builders including town planning consent and working drawings. The project involved gaining consent to build a habitable room over the top of an easement that had a sewer main in it. Our plans were commended by the local authorities for the design and we were granted approval.
The project required considerable excavation including deep bored piers and a lot of structural steel work. A new kitchen, bathroom, new floor coverings, paint, render and landscaping was completed in approx. 9 months. The owners who were thrilled with their virtually new home sold it at Auction a short time after the building works were completed for a new record price in the street. The owners have since engage Organized builders to build their new luxurious large modern home in the suburb of Somers on the Mornington Peninsula.
